Replacing live PTO lever and side plate on Massey 135.

My first transmission fluid change and filter check. Is aligning the linkage a problem after cleaning the filter? If I leave the PTO lever in same position when replacing, how will I know if it is correct? Massey mechanic gave me the PTO shaft check routine... Is there any visual I can go by while replacing the rod that engages the gear?

G'day Dave if you have the lever in the same spot then you shouldn't have any trouble it is a pretty positive fit
