replacing 14' overhead door

I came across 2 14x14 overhead doors on CL last week and went and picked them up
Saturday. They are complete with tracks, but I only need to replace the panels on 1
of my doors. One of the doors i picked up is the same brand/model as what's on my
shop now (wayne dalton) and the other i'm not sure, but they are both insulated doors,
and 1 panel on each has windows(which mine don't have now)

so, i want to replace my broken panels (very windy location) with one of these doors
and i'm going to need to get up to the torsion spring assy to remove the spring load,
before i can disassemble the door. (currently unhooked from the opener)

what would be the best way to get up there to work? maybe rent scaffolding? or
ladders? i currently don't own a ladder that will reach that high, and the only
way i've been getting up there is to put my camper under the door and stand on it
(not my favorite way)

then the panels need to be put in place, and i'm sure i'll need some help, but they
aren't all that heavy.

scaffold on CL.... its relatively inexpensive and always comes in handy. else rent some or a lift.

if you buy a ~28' extension ladder you can split it in half and use ladder jacks and a walk pick. (walk pick can be rented or CL'd same with the ladder)

Unless you have done this before I would hire somebody to unwind/wind the torsion springs on your door. It can be VERY dangerous to
adjust overhead door torsion springs.

there are several good youtube videos of how to do it. with the right tools (2 bars of the correct size) its realitivly easy to do.

Believe me it's not as easy as it looks, lots can go wrong. Are there good youtube videos on how to put your face back together?
