Replacement for 500 series

I was told that they have started building the new 1650 series tractors back in november that will replace the 573-596. They will have a tilted hood and the console on cab models will be on the right side but have not heard or seen anything about them has anyone?

Tractors will be known as 2600HD series. Same girl, different dress as 500 series. They'll look like 1600 & 3600 series. More information after the 1st of the year.

I wonder why the 3600 tractors didn't take off and become popular? Are they a good tractor and do you know anyone who has had any problems because it seems the dealers have had some on the lot and have not had much luck selling them.

I was just at the Massey dealer today and was told the new 2600HD series will be arriving in March. The replacement for the 573 is 2650 and for the 583 2660. He gave me a price on them and they were about $2500 more than their predecessor. He said that they only come standard with one remote valve instead of the two found on the 500 series. Also was told the 2650(573) is now turbocharged making 62pto hp, so I'm guessing the 2660(583) will be too. I found a couple pictures so you can see what it looks like.

All the 2600's HD's will be turbo charged with Perkins.
