So I replaced the thermister on my jd 4300 today. I think John Deere could have come up with a better idea for placement. I ended up extending the wires so I can get to it without moving the fuse box next time. I might be an electrician but my wife use to work for a computer network company so she has a lot of soldering experience. I think it made her happy that could help me finally on one of my projects. She suggested that next time we put in a 2 wire terminal strip to make it easier. Now I can hear the fuel shut off solenoid real good.
