Hi,
I have a 1982 Ford 4610 3-cyl diesel tractor that came with a front end loader (Ford 776A Loader).
The previous owner damaged the two lift cylinders and they may not be repairable.
The OEM replacement cylinders are pricey from the dealership.
I would imagine you can buy brands other than Ford/New Holland?
If so, how would I know what to buy?
It looks like cylinders are sold by diameter and stroke, is that right?
I didn't notice the diameter or stroke dimensions on the Ford/New Holland branded part.
Is there a way I can find out the diameter and stroke so I can shop around for cylinders?
I am new to this so please forgive my ignorance.
Chris
