Neighbor has a 3203 and needs more lifting out of the loader. Can he put the 300CX on it as he will just trade the loader in? I see no problem as its the same hook up.
I thought the 300 was the same loader with smaller cylinders. I would just replace the 2 lift cylinders and save some$. Keep in mind they made the 300 for tractors that may not be able to handle the extra strain.
I worry he may still not get what he really needs with the upgrade to the CX model. Specifications on the 300CX are listed on JD's site as 1122# at full height of 102" - 500mm out from the pin. These specifications are taken at 2500psi. If your neighbor really wants to upgrade loaders, to one that will significantly increase his work abilities... The TA-170 will lift 2015# at the full height of 122" - 500 mm out from the pin measured at 2500psi. There are many specifications to look at and compare, however the best one to look at is the "actual working capacity" of the loader. What it can lift at the full height - past the front edge of the bucket. You will be pleasantly surprised at the performace of this compact loader...
They had a take off from another tractor. So they did a straight up even trade for the 300CX only thing he had to pick it and keep his bucket. He just uses the tractor lightly and has bigger equipment for bigger jobs. Thanks for the advice he should be problem free
