repairing brakes on a John Deere 950

Lost my tractor manual in a shop fire. I need help in repairing the brakes on my tractor. Not sure where to start. They just don't work, won't stop the tractor. Thanks for any info you can give me!

Pretty straight forward, and can see the parts breakdown in jdparts.com

Remove the bolts and pull off the cover to get at the drum and to get at the shoes. Be sure they are dry and not oil covered or you will need to put in a new seal.
