Repairing 3 point spreader

I have an "International Machinery Corp" 3 point spreader that I purchased 2nd hand. The bottom of the tub is rusted through and I want to take it apart and weld new metal to the tub. The closest diagram that I can find is a Landpride spreader that looks like it has the identical agitator assembly at the bottom. Problem is I can't find a pin or figure out how to remove it. Anybody have and idea how to remove this assembly.

I have one, just like it. I'm thinking it threads on. If I remember tomorow, I'll have a look.

After removing layers of rust, grease etc. I found that spring pins hold the agitator for the gear box shaft. They are rusted tight. Just have to figure out how to remove. Punch and hammer did not moved. Will keep trying.
