I rented an Aitchinson seed drill for my TC40DA to plant brassicas. WOW, what a solid, great piece of machinery!! How I wish I owned one of these. In the world of seed drills (for food plots) what else comes close? I like the system with the carbide blades instead of the discs that cut. It's a very simple device built like a tank. I have a lot of small stones and this seemed to plant well and work great on my horrid soil. I kept getting on hands and knees to check seed and soil contact and it looked great. The guy near me who rents it charges $14 per acre plus his transport which is $1.75 a mile. Can't beat that. Still wish I owned it myself!
