Removing the JD 2305 cover panel below the instrumnet panel to access diode wiring.

Would like easier access to wiring so I can remove the diode receptacle for the flashers I broke trying to get the diode out. None are available from JD. I'll have to jury rig the replacement by removing the broken receptacle and wiring directly to diode unless someone has another suggestion. Appreciate the help.
