My mower has almost 1000 hours and it and looks like it has been to war & back, but it has been pretty faithful at getting my acreage mowed! Biggest problems have just been parts wearning out. The latest failure is the bolt into the turnbuckle that lifts the deck (hydro lift) broke. Well, I was able to remove the shaft but have no idea what actualy holds that turnbuckle thingy on. So I thought I would remove the fenders (it is filthy and could really use cleaning and that would open things up for me to see). Good idea, right? Got it all loose and it dawns on me that the hydro pedal is preventing me from removing the fenders/platform. Any ideas on how that pedal comes off? There looks like there might be set screw or something but haven't been able to get anything to grab so it will come loose. Any ideas? It needs cleaned terribly so it would be of great help to remove it. Thanks in advance! Shelly in IA

Update, figured out it was a pin, got the pin knocked out but absolutely cannot get the pedal to budge, any ideas? And the pin I need to get out for the deck lift is right there, just need to get that fender off!!!! Ug.
