Hi,

The end bearings on the tilt cylinder and the blade end of the angle cylinders on my D5G have a bunch of slop in them and I want to replace them. Does anyone know off hand if they are a press fit in the cylinder ends, or if they can be knocked out with a drift and hammer? I'm trying to decide whether I can do a field repair (knock them out with a drift and hammer), or if I need to remove the cylinders and take them back to my shop when I have a press. I'm sure many will say "just take them to the shop", but it's 100 miles away, hence the question.

Thanks,

Peter

I don't know, but my best guess is you are going to need that press.

Old bearings seem to get glued in place!

Have you priced the new bearings out yet? (just curious)
