Removeable sun shade/umbrella

My shed door is not tall enough to clear a standard sun shade for my CK30 and taking it on & off each time that I want to use the tractor was going to be a pain so I opted not to buy the sun shade. Does anyone know of different type of sun shade or umbrella that would either fold up when attached to ROPS or is easily removeable? My shed door is just under 7ft tall so even though the standard sun shade on the ROPS can fold it is still too tall to clear. I considered trying to put in a taller overhead door, but I did not have enough clearance. Any ideas guys?

I bought one of these for my CK30 because of the same problem, I remove it and fold the ROPES down so it will fit in my garage, it's only like 20 lbs. TuffTOP : The Smartest Sun Shade on the Market

Can you fill me in a bit more? How easy is it to remove? Which unit did you get? The unit from Kioti dealer (standard sun shade) seemed to require 2 people to get it on & off-not something that you would want to do each time you use your tractor. Was this a one person job?

The Kioti unit I put on my CK30 was a one person job, at least I did it myself. But I would not want to do it every time I wanted to use my tractor. I put the frame on the ROPS, set the shade on the frame and put a bolt in place, then put the other bolts in place, tightened and good to go. Once the frame was on the ROPS, it took about 10 minutes to put the shade on and tighten it down.

If you are talking about the Kioti sunshade... I have not tried it, good idea, don't see any reason why it would not. Would definitely be easier with 2 people, wouldn't take 10 min to R&R. I would want to make sure the boom would not come up far enough to hit it.

I ran across a company called Sun Guard Canopy Sunshades that makes universal sunshades that would fit the Kioti. Has anyone had any experience with them?

Just FYI, I saw a foldable sun shade at Tracter Supply Company (TSC) that mounts to the ROPS. It was in the clearence isle for around $150.00. The sun shade will fold down such that it lays flat on the ROPS when the ROPS are folded for clearence issues. This was a "hard" type of sun shade.

Does your tractor go in without folding the ROPS? I couldn't get my CK25 into my garage (I think it is an 8' door) with the sun shade on. I solved it by cutting a slot for the rops into the shade and then mounting the brackets for the shade on the bottom of the ROPS. I gained a couple of inches which was just enough to get in after I adjusted the door so that it would open to the full 8' height.
