One of the doglegs on my loader was bent. Don't know if I did it or the guy I bought the tractor from did it. If I did it, then they must be made of balsa wood because I haven't done anything really hard with my tractor since I have owned it ......three weeks, maybe.
In any case I did not want to continue to worry about should I try this or not do that when using my loader. So, I bought a complete set and asked a welder friend (this guy has enough certifications to paper a room. He works at a local plant that builds high pressure tank cars (rail and over-the-road). He was kind enough to help me out.

The first pic is how I got them back from him. The next pics are mounted on my tractor.

You won't bend them. Good job.

Funny. That's almost exactly what my friend said when he gave them to me..... and I quote, "You ain't gonna bend these.". That steel he used is so thick I'm sure it was some scrap from the plant. He also had to have used one of the giant presses they have to make those curves in that steel..... no way you could bend them that way in your shop...... but then again; what do I know.

Nice idea, I bent 2 on one side. Took them off and pressed them flat again but did not reinforce.

I have been using this tractor with the grapple fairly hard and need to be careful not to bend or break something else.
