I have a YM 1300D that had a new red paint job when I bought it (with the frame, engine, transmission and so forth painted black. It has round headlights. I believe it to be a very early 1300D as it has a O-ring instead of an oil seal in the front-axle knuckle joint--I have the knuckle apart replacing O-ring, bushing and stub axle seal.When I telephoned to order some parts recently I was asked was my 1300D Red or Green. I assume that the difference in color indicates how old the tractor may be. I have seen 1300D models in Green color and rectangular headlights.
The bottom line is I do not know what color my 1300D was originally.
Can someone explain the color differences and what color my 1300D was likely painted originally?
Also, before I dissambled the knuckle I ordered a size 100 x 120 x 12 MM oil seal, as I thought that the knuckle used an oil seal, not an O-ring as it turns out. There is no way that this oil seal will work, as the outside diameter (120MM) of the knuckle is the same as outside diameter of the oil seal. Were there several variations of the 1300D knuckle as I can see on the Fredricks parts listing two diffferent size knuclkle oil seals---the parts listing at Fredricks does not show a knuckle with an O ring?
