My Mississippi ADSL2 modem/router seems to be dying. It's an old comtrend 5361t we had been renting (SWMBO didn't want to buy).
Last week it locked up 5 times requiring a hard power reset.

SWMBO pays the bills and was swearing we were paying for the high end of internet service.
So I called our ISP. We are paying for the lowest level of service they offered (~$40 for 7Mbps) many years ago. But for our uses it suffices.
So I don't need something that will do GB
Discussing modem routers with the tech he recommended:Actiontec, D-Link and Trendnet.
Any recommendations from the TBN crowd?

Who is SWMBO? Find out what brand and model they are currently leasing, look on ebay for a used one. However you could have copper line problem on the high band that DSL uses. You need to figure out how to log onto the router and check the status of the connection

My ISP provided an Actiontec 3200. I use it now almost exclusively wireless as I get the same speed test results either wired or wireless.

Shouldn't that come up on network diagnostics?
SWMBO, from Haggards novel 'she' but often attributed to Rumpole the crusty old barrister from Rumpole of the Bailey.
