I'm a new owner of a used 2004 JD 110 TLB, equipment as follows:
Heated Laurin cab
Foot controlled backhoe thumb
Quick release loader and backhoe
Front auxiliary hydraulics A/B, joystick control selectable or constant flow.
Rear auxiliary hydraulics A/B, joystick control selectable or constant flow, C/D/E/F joystick control with float and regen.
72" JD Pro loader bucket.
88" Bobcat Snow Bucket.
48" Pine Plains quick attach forks
Will post images soon.
As I get familiar with the machine, I'm am finding worn, damaged, missing, malfunctioning components.
Bent grille (reasonably straightened and reinstalled)
Slightly bent grille guard
Missing Loader Boom Lock for LH cylinder
Elongation at lower quick attach latch pins.
Hour meter not reading. Every aspect of the cluster seems to read or display properly except the hour meter. In run, no time is displayed whatsoever. Certainly a faulty cluster is a likely problem. What other circumstances can result in the lack of display? What test procedure or diagnostic can be performed? Is the actual time storage within the cluster or elsewhere? Based on that answer, should I install a new cluster, what will be the hours displayed? A used cluster, what will be the hours displayed?
Possibly noisy pumps.
Bent anti-spill link under cross-tube on loader boom (straightened)
Hydraulic hoses chafing and could be clamped down and dressed better.
Front axle seal leak at LH front wheel.
Bent battery box and cover.
Heater blower in cab not working (replaced fuses and now working)
I'm led to believe that later models have the loader boom pistons flipped so as to run hoses below cylinders versus above and that owners of earlier models re-orientate the cylinders likewise, in both cases to alleviate the chafing. Can other owners confirm? Does doing so require different hose lengths?
Any general info on these machines, problematic aspects, enhancements, general info?
Any resources for used parts for these machines, salvage yards?
Images of the following will help me rectify some issues or concerns:
Ideal hose routings for loader.
