I saw a post by Gotrocks that caught my attention.
sometime you buy a product that you think is safe to use but infact has been recalled.
recall notices come to consumers who fill out their product warranty registration cards.
If you do not fill it out you are not notified.

I had a Viking toaster catch on fire and found it had been recalled.
the company sent my a brand new one free.
Milwaukee 18 volt powerplus 2.4 amp/hr batteries , I recieved 10 free replacement batteries that were under recall
Go to the web site and search some of your items.
baby cribs, tools, household appliances, safety harness, power tools, test equipment like Fluke meters, fire extinguishers....................................
You will be amazed what has been recalled and you might just get a new one for free.
I have recieved many..... free items and only had to promise to destroy the old item.
