Recall of Michelin Tires

Today on the news it mentioned a recall of the Michelin XM02 and 03 tire
I use this brand over other types. Never had a compliant.
Anyone know what is the reason.

They are "heavy" truck tires, not car/LT tires. The issue appears to be loosing air when RETREADED. From what I saw it doesnt appear to be effecting un-retreaded tires.

"Michelin North America Inc. says its lease fleet customers complained that some of the tires had lost air rapidly during use as retreads over the past two years, prompting a company investigation. It did not cite any instances of crashes."

Thanks I heard part of the news no one mentioned the recaps.
This must be reason there is the tire ripped off rim laying on side of road.
Think Soundguy calls then black alligators.
