"Rebuild" kit for HydroGear 9180319? (previously 6180319)

Overall, mower works superbly; well-kept. Transaxle loses all power once fluid is warm; won't do hills (after about 15 minutes). Belts are new; ruled out as an issue.

I certainly don't want to purchase a new transaxle. Are there any recommendations for what key parts should be replaced to effectively "rebuild" this transmission?

Definitely appreciate the help. And yes, I have gone through the whole fluid drain/replace/purge process without noticeable improvements.

It seems to me like the crowds over on the "TuffTorque" rebuild thread have all but given up getting and doing rebuild kits for those since prices for new or reman units have been dropping to near the same level. Maybe some fleabay searching will find you a reasonable HydroGear replacement?

As an FYI your number is the MTD number rather than the hydrogear which is on a white tag on the t/a itself. 918-0319. I like jrobyn's idea, but is you have the TT # , they have an excellent customer assistance dept.
