Looking for some rear wheel weights for my 955. According to JD Parts, the same wheel weights are used on 655, 755, 756, 855, 856, 670, 770, 955, 4100, 790, 2320, 2520, and 2720 tractors.

Does anyone know of an aftermarket source for these wheel weights?

Hmmm..... no one uses rear wheel weights on their CUT? My wheels are 16" with 4 mounting holes on a 10.5" circle.

I checked on JD Parts and the currently listed part number come up as "Invalid".

go to a tractor salvage yard and see what you can find....i'm sure something would work you may need to drill different holes in the rims though.

Mechanos,

I have a 855 and I made my own mount (similar to the picture above) for barbell weights. I put five 25lb slabs on each wheel. Then I filled the tires with windshield washer fluid.

This is plenty for my 855.

A lot of weights will fit on a lot of tractors that they aren't supposed to.
For example, I put JD weights on my Ford 2110 and they fit with just one size smaller bolt than they were supposed to.
Put JD weights on a Kubota so I'll bet the reverse works.
As noted, measure your bolt circle and approximate shape of the wheel and look around.

Also, yes, there are generic weights and I have some of them. Mine were gneric Ford skid-steer suitcase weights I use in my Kubota L4300.
Irregular casting but they work and look like they belong after I painted them.
I would search the internet and see what you find.
There are some very nice dealer members here that might help too.
Search the net.

I don't want to fill the tires, so I'd have to stack a considerable number of barbell weights. The stick out of all those weights would make the resulting width inpractical. I found some aftermarket weights for 16" wheels, but the bolt circle is dimension is not right.

Go to eBay. Put in Deere weights for the search criteria and right now there is a set of the weights you need. Look at them and you will know them when you see them. I bought one set for $100 off of Craigslist and another set for 120 off of eBay. Keep looking. BTW go to Deere and ask. Last time I checked they were $240 for a pair. They are still available.

Great advice.
I just went to EBAY and searched "tractor weights" and got way more than imagined.
As well, it looks like one manufacturer of knock-offs is selling there.
