I have a ck35, industrial tires. I spoke to tirechains.com and they said I need 3" of clearance all the way around for the 3/8 ladder chains. I don't think the clearance is there. The 3pt. stay bars (I think that's what they are called) are close to the tire but down low.
Has anyone bought these chains and do they clear?

I run the two link 3/8 ladder chains from tirechains.com on my CK30hst Industrial tires with no problems. Just make you put them on snug and use good chain tensioners.

Victor, Dave from tirechains.com spoke to me at length, 3 times today. He told me that I must have 3" of clearance for the 3/8 ladder chains. I have 2 1/4. What type of tires do you have?

Mine are R4, Industrial tires, 15 - 19.5. My CK30hst is a 2004 manufacture year. Unless Kioti made a big change in the fenders, you should be fine. My chains never hit the fenders. I just install them snug on the tires and use the chain tensioners that Tirechains sell to keep them tight. I'll get a measurement from mine. The only area that would be of any consideration, at least on mine but they don't hit, would be the outer edge of the fender. All the rest has plenty of room. I have three links from the side chain that are lose after installation and just use plastic wire ties to hold them against the tight side chain going around the tire.

We Have a 04- CK30 , Industrial tires that we used the chains from our old T30 Ferguson . They fit the Ind. tires perfect with no clearance problems . Just wish they were easyer to put on by myself .

I had a Mahindra 2615HST with the same size tires. I only had 1/2" space between the tires and the ROPS / fender support frame. I had 2" wheel spacers made for each side so at 2 1/2" I had plenty of room for 3/8" ladder chains. You should be fine at 2 1/4".

I'm looking at the Aquiline tire chains. They are for tight clearance and get excellent reviews.:

I have Aquiline Talons and only have 2" of fender to sidewall clearance. It can be done but it takes me a while to mount these chains every season. All the slop has to be worked out of the chain so it is tight on the tire. Also all loose ends must be tightly tucked against the tire and safety wired.

I measured mine. The closest space is from the inside of the tire to the inner part of the fender and like yours, it's 2 1/4 inch. I've never had the chains hit the inside of the fender.
