I was wondering if a few of you could post some pictures of your rear remotes and any controls associated with them and their mounting location. I'm trying to get a better idea of rear remotes and how they are controlled on New Holland, Kubota and/or John Deere tractors.

Thank You,
Neo

Sorry, no picture. Do have a recommendation though. The controls for the remotes on my NH TN65 were at the forward edge of the right fender and almost impossible to reach if I was on the ground behind the tractor hooking up an implement. When I bought the MF 1455v the dealer had to install the rear remotes and I made sure the controls were within easy reach so I could make fine adjustments to the tilt and trim cylinders when hooking up. Takes a lot of aggravation out of it when things are convenient.

yea i know what ya mean about not being able to reach the remotes from the back, on my ford 8000 the remotes are up front next to the seat but with the cab ya can reach them, and besides the seat it about 6 and a half feet up in the air anyhow, so its a pain with the hyd toplink to have to climb in and out to adjust it, one of these days i want to add a lever and linkage to one of the remotes so that i can operate it from behind the tractor, but i havent gotten around to it yet, shouldnt be to hard tho i dont think

This isn't a perfect picture, but you can see the "default" placement of the remote valve and lift controls on a TN65.
The green knobbed lever on the right fender is the control for the rear remotes. The lift controls are below it. You can barely see the knob between the gear shift and and the remote lever at the bottom of the pic.

The line connections are on either side of the top link.

The levers aren't not readily accessible from the rear of the tractor, but are quite convenient for me when I'm in the seat.

Rhughes,

Thanks for posting the pic. What implements do you use your rear remote for? Is one enough or should I get two?

Does anyone else have examples of their rear remote and control valve placement that they would like to share?

I use the rear remotes for my disc's and planters as well as my loader. Here is a pic of the rear remotes on my TN.

My new TN65 has only the single rear remote as does the old JD; I can have extras installed if necessary.
On the JD I used them to operate a front mounted blade. The round bailer we use requires remote hydraulics as well.
I don't have a FEL; those generally operate off a dual set of mid mounted remotes.
