My friend just acquired a Ford 3000 with no loader...from what I have read it will require an adapter plate...anyone done this first hand...have found some info on the net but nothing exact...

wanting to add at least two (possibly four) remotes...would rather not use the OEM parts that puts the valves in front of the seat...want to place third party valves on the fender or ROPS...

TIA...

There use to be a plate with a selector valve, or auxiliary control valve, under the seat. It has a blanking plug where you connect the pressure line for the remote valves package. See attached pictures.

There might be a blanking plate without the knob, they use to have the blanking plug as well.

The return line from the remote valves package goes to the filler hole in the rear axle. In this post there are pictures showing the return line:

Buy a double spool remote control valve and mount it in place of the above aux service valve, if installed, otherwise there is a blank plate with a plug on its front. The remote valve probably is available as a kit with hoses and couplers from your local dealer.
