Price Check Rear remotes for L4330?

I went by my local Kubota dealer today wanting to order 3 sets of remotes of my L4330. I got a quote for $1632 (not installed) plus the top and tilt kit for $812. I don't have anything to compare these prices to.

How much have you guys paid for remotes and T-N-T kits?

Any dealers on the form want to give me a quote?

Last retail on the valves and not using the float valves the three spools retail are 1399. and the price of the top and tilt was 818.
With float valves you are at 1818. that is by march of 11 price list so they may have gone up since. Price does not include freight.

If you were to purchase a complete Top and Tilt set from me, the 2 cylinders, 4 hoses with QD ends and 2 flow restrictors would be $585-$600 + shipping cost.

Art, is that right? $419 for 3 float functions sounds very very high.

My dealer is telling that I do not want float valves. I won't want my box blade to float, but my mower I might want to float. The quote they gave me was for (3) dual acting valves.

Art can you give me a quote in 2012 pricing?
I won't expect a $300 price increase in a year. The prices I was quoted were before shipping which I have to pay and tax.

Just because your dealer is a dealer does not mean that he has used a tractor a lot & or for all the different purposes that they are used for. Besides having your top link able to float for mowing, many guys want that feature just for hooking up to their implements. Being able to just push or pull the rod to were you need it is a nice option although once you have a flow restrictor on there, that becomes much harder to do. I highly recommend having the float feature for the side link. There are several situations-conditions where having the float option sure makes grading nice. Especially finish smoothing of a road and at intersections.

I got the OEM TnT from Kubota and did not get one with float, if I had it to do again, I would. MtnViewRanch has sold kids to quite a few TBN members and it is cheaper than OEM.

If you have the mechanical ability, you can make up a 3 spool valve with the options you want, for less than the manufacturer.

Go to this site and look at the stack valves that you put together with options, such as float, detent, PB, etc.

Will a float valve will work just like a dual action valve until you put it in the float position? Would there be any reason not to go with all float valves? They cost a little more but better then having to buy a different valve down the road.

In my opinion, the only reason to not get the float function is..........................................., well there is no reason to not get the float function in at least 2 of them. If you ever plan on running any log splitter or hydraulic motor, then you might want to get a plain detent valve for those in the 3rd valve.
