Hi All, I took delivery of my CK 3510 HST in January, it has 2 rear "remotes". None of my prior tractors had this feature so I set out to learn how they function. The various descriptions I found weren't always easy to follow and I was disappointed the owner's manual didn't provide a schematic. To me it's like having someone describe how to get somewhere vs. showing me on a map.
So I've attached a diagram of what most seem to call the self centering valve. The valve referred to as the detent valve is the same valve but with a detented center position (in place of spring centered).
Maybe I'm the only one, but If this was in the manual I'd have understood things instantly.
Also (being **** here), why are they called "remotes" when they're just rear mounted valves?
