Have a ct230 with a rear remote working a grapple. Has worked fine for two years and all of a sudden today it started to stick in the forward position. Was able to get the lever pulled back in neutral and now it won't work the grapple. The lever moves but nothing works. Also sticks really bad when you have it push forward. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Brad

No help I suppose but when my lever is pushed in the lock position forward or backwards it takes a pretty good push to move it back. All other hydraulics working as they should?

I had my remote lever without detent lockup once when a coupler was not fully locked in place. That could also explain no function now if coupler has backed off enough to close the poppet.

I unhooked my grapple lines and hooked them back up and still sticks. I do have function . I bent back the rod and I have full function now. Just sticks bad when pushed into the lock position

The manual shows detent balls inside that hold the spool in the detent position but nothing as far as trouble shooting. No adjustment to them that I can see.

If you are using the remote lever closest to the seat it may have the detent which are prone to getting dry or rusty and stick. The detent is removable without disassembling the valve it is located adjacent to the control lever. I only needed detent for occasional use of wood splliter so I removed the spring and balls form it an put the cap back in then use a bunging cord to hold the handle when splitting wood. Sorry, I did not take photos of removing it, but there was a thread some time ago in Kioti forum showing this.
If you have 2 remotes run it from the other one. I run grapple with the outer lever remote as it is easy to get my hand on, not as close to the seat.
