It is on a Kubota Grand L series. I tried everything. I turned tractor off, then let bucket and 3 point down, jiggled joystick, moved top and tilt hydraulic levers around to relieve pressure but I just can't get these to disconnect no matter what I try. I of course know how to do quick connects and even watched a video on how to disconnect these but they won't budge.

They are probably still under some type of pressure. If you can’t figure out how to take the pressure off, try loosening the fitting between the QC and the hose out. That will drip some fluid and hopefully show you what’s under pressure.

To be blunt, you are missing something. But the steps above will at least get you over the frustration for a few minutes.

Yeah you are right I'm missing something. I'll try that.

They are Kubota style Pioneer. After relieveing the pressure (turn the tractor off and move the levers that control the fittings) back and forth to relieve pressure then PUSH the hose and male connector IN and then pull OUT sharply. They will disconnect.

How they work. The will also disconnect under pressure if the line to the implement gets too tight.

I agree with 5030 but are you sure these are Kubota fittings and have not been replaced with the much lower price ones you need to hands to disconnect? I had a fitting to get damaged years ago and had the manual type fitting and installed it. Later when got the price at dealership decided the lower price one was good. Must have been about ten years now. Only time I regret not buying the Kubota style is when I connect or disconnect.

Just as 5030 has said, relieve pressure, then push in and pull out all in one quick motion. ;)

Those are "Break-a-way" style. Designed to pull out should you forget to disconnect them and drive off leaving the implement behind.

They will release under pressure but need a strong jerk
