Yanmar F22D
We purchased 24 acres of some really beautiful land. So finally, after a few years of ownership I am able to put my tractor to work on a regular basis. Two weeks ago, my brother loaded up my tractor and implements and drove my F22D to its new home. Yesterday, I fire my tractor up and with the bush-hog attached (this is the first time I have ever even used this bush-hog!) and discover my left rear tire is flat.

I knew that I was already on borrowed time with these tires as they appear to be the original rice-paddy tires and have DEEP cracks that sometimes have the tube showing through the side wall. I replaced the tubes earlier but that is no longer an option as I must get new rear tires. These rear tires are 9.5-24 and I am curious as to what size the lug nuts are? I took my largest socket, a 24mm, and it was too small and rather than buying several sizes of new sockets, I would prefer to just buy one - the right-sized one!

Would someone be kind enough to help me out with pointing me to the proper sized socket for the rear lug nots? Also, any leads about places to purchase R1 9.5-24 tires that are reasonably priced (if possible) will be greatly appreciated PLUS what ply rating is better? I saved an old tire article from this site (Agricultural Tires ? A Primer | TractorByNet.com ? Compact Tractor Portal) but that does not help me with the ply-rating decision.

Mine are #7 @ 1" and the 27mm feels loose but should work. Don't have a 26mm in my EL Cheapo HF. Kit to check it with.

I took my standard size sockets up today and one of those (thanks winston1) fit most of the nuts very well. I removed the wheels this morning and, along with adding double protection to the the security of the jacking, am awaiting the new tires on Monday. I am about to put this grand tractor to work!
