Hoping I can get a little help trouble shooting this problem with my rear lift hydraulics.

Montana 6864 manufactured by UTB.
Front loader operates perfectly.
When engaging rear lift for first time since buying it I got about 1" of travel in the cylinders and then they stopped and will not move anymore.
Fluid looks great.
I swapped out the filter.
I have searched high and low and don't believe there is a diverter

I bought this from a farm in Oklahoma where it had been sitting for some time. I rewired everything, fixed the brakes, fixed a lot of other small miscellaneous things, and got it running like a top, but this is the last thing I am just stumped by. I wouldn't think it could be a diverter since i did get movement from them when first trying to engage. I'm hoping it's just something stupid that I am missing.

What does the valve on the back in the last picture operate.

Does the 3 point lower fully or just have minimal movement in both directions?

Zero movement in either direction. It was just about 1" of travel then kaput.

my apologies, I'm not exactly which valve you are referring to.

Maybe the valve handle just to the right of the top link mount? The rust on the lift cylinder rods may take out the seals once it moves.

Looks like you have draft control. Set right?

Looks like you show a lot of lifting cylinder rod length without much lifting arm height. There are different holes in the lifting arms for range and weight of implements.

Have a owners or workshop manuals?

i tried that valve previously to no avail. great cal on the rust on the cylinder rods though, didn't even think of that, will see if i can hit with a clean and polish before adjusting.

no manual, and nothing is labeled, so have had to figure everything out by feel.
I pulled the hydraulic line off of one of them with the engine off and got a decent little pop of pressure, tested with the engine running with the selector in both positions and either way fluid was firing out of the line. I'm still very new to all of this, but seems like that selection arm next to the lift arm should be shutting off flow to the hydraulics right?

Since will not lower I would suggest looking for the drop rate control. It usually a knob located below the seat behind your legs. These can and do corrode over time so they will not turn. If this is closed the arms will not lower so also would not raise. Three point on most tractors is also gravity down so you might have to push on the arms to get them to lower.
