I am now trying to pick the best rear inverted snowblower to put on my new L6060 cab that I just ordered. I have read every thread on here about the subject. Things that I have learned.

1) People in snow country, Canada and Scandanavia use them overwhelmingly.
2)Fishhead has one and loves it for big and small snow falls.
3)Most people fear them out of both the logistical mind tricks it does to the head, and simple never trying one.
4)I know that most of the videos online are of the guys doing dense developments that swoop in with 2 passes to clear the 18 foot drives.
5)Great that the front loader can stay on for whatever may arise, as well as just filling with snow for more weight.
6) Nice that the snow mist stays behind cab.
7)So much easier that a front mount snowblower and the subframe and lack of loader and other drama that comes along with it.

My fears are how will the L6060 with turf tires drive through 10 inches of snowfall(assume no crazy ice conditions lurking underneath) while pulling a 1000 Lb blower up a 15% grade. Any monster snowfalls I will clean up halfway through the storm.

The 3 brands Im looking at are Pronovost Puma 74", MK Martin Meteor 78", and Normand. The only brand that I can buy through my kubota dealer is MK Martin. I feel like the best quality from what I have researched is Normand #1, Pronovost #2, and then MK martin #3. I wish I could find out something more clear about the quality of the MK meteor since it would be better to get through my dealer.

I am very interested in this.
Are you planning on loading the tires? Maybe tire chains? I think all the guys who use these units are always running a Nokian tractor snow rated tire.

I think Neil from Messick's did a review on R4 vs Turf in snow, Check YouTube.

Tires will be loaded. I am really hoping I can get by without using chains on my newly paved half mile driveway. I don't want to damage the beautiful asphalt. If I can find a way to perhaps do my 2 hills only going down hill I will do that rather use chains if possible.

Using chains will DEFINITELY scuff your driveway!

Ah, yes, don't want to wreck that fortune you just spent.

May or may not be relevant to you. I have the MK Martin Meteor SB68 rear mount blower. For the price compared to other models I looked at it has handled everything I have thrown at it the last 3 winters clearing up to 3' of snow off our steep 1/4 mile driveway

The majority of the row crop tractors you see pulling the inverted snow blowers
on you tube are much larger and heavier than the L6060.

You will need 4 link V bar ladder chains for the rear tires for the added traction.

You should be looking at buying a front mount as the combination of using loaded
rear tires and the front mount will only help you. If you have 4 link ladder chains
mounted on the front tires your tractor will have more traction and you spin much
less as you will not need to use much throttle to move the tractor AND the front
mount snow blower will help the tires maintain traction.

Leaving the tractor in low range reduces the potential for spinning to a bare minimum
as long as you move slowly and letting the front mount clear the snow slowly avoids
having a lot of snow just fall over the snow blower which will happen with a pull type
rear mount in deep snow as well.

No matter what you choose your going to be scraping the driveway so you will have
to just get used to the sight of it being scratched as it will begin to bleach in a year
or two as I described to you earlier if you read my explanation.

If you have a radio in the tractor it will make passing the snow clearing time easier.

Your introductory post seems spot on. People I've talked to who own rear pull snowblowers and dispel the myths of the critics. My own experience with tire types in snow follows:

Turf - Way better traction in snow than I expected
R4s - Racing Slicks
R1s - The best of the lot

I pull a 90" Smyth Welding inverted with my M7040 using TRYGG studded chains on R4's.

I do two long paved driveways belonging to my two brothers + my gravel lane and sod trails.

I was concerned about possible pavement damage from the chains but it has not happened.

At worse, small polished spots happen from the studs but come spring and the sun, these are gone.

There are a lot of studs in contact with the pavement at any instant with these chains and lead to far less damage than would happen with other chain styles.
