Rear hydraulics routed to front instead of 3rd Function?

I have a Kubota L3830 HST. I had rear hydraulics installed when I bought the tractor 7 years ago but I've never used them. The connections are right behind the drivers seat for a hydraulic top link, angle adjust rear blade, etc. I am considering buying a FEL plow with hydraulic angle adjustment. I'm assuming I could run long hydraulic lines from the rear hydraulics, wire tied along the FEL arms and use the small lever (next to the PTO engagement lever to the right of the driver seat) to adjust the plow angle? If "yes" I assume this would also work for a grapple bucket if I ever got one of those?

Yes, you can use rear remotes for plow or grapple.

I did this for my grapple rake and also use the connection for my hydraulic auger. In my setup, I put disconnects under the cab, in case I ever wanted to remove the FEL (which I have NEVER done, by the way), but the hydraulic connectors are the most expensive part of this arrangement, so you may want to just go with continuous lines, if you don't expect ever to be dismounting the FEL.

Yes, it works just fine. You can spend a bunch of money or just buy a little longer hoses and use what you have. Verify prices on your hoses before you order them, or buy on line. There are some sharks out there in the hose business. Study the hose ratings too.
