Guys, currently have no rear hydraulics on my 3130. I would like to add two factory remotes but cant find much information on what kits I need and how to install them. Can someone tell me what kits I need and how to install please? What do these kits cost?

I've searched threads and not really finding much on factory install.

Thanks

I would recommend that you contact Messicks Kubota to get the part numbers. I can tell you that this is not cheap.

I recently added a 3rd rear valve on my 4330, what I found is that there are options on the type of valves you can get, such as detent and non.

Basically you have to remove the seat and then the pan that goes under it. Once that is removed you will find the housing from which the valves attach to.

What I would recommend is if you decide to add the valves is to go ahead and get the 3rd valve if you ever decide to do a top and tilt.

I have a part # YW089-00100 for the valve,as I recall, the valve comes with the hyd. hose and the rear outlet. You will also need the control levers.

It would help if you'd post the tractor brand. JD built a model 3130.

Yep, I knew it was going to be pricey. If it痴 not much more I値l add the 3rd valve. Basically, you stack them all off of the first valve?

Didn稚 realize JD built a 3130. Mine is a Kubota grand L 3130.

Go to the build your own on the Kubota website and find either that model or a Grand L close to it. Then price it out for a ballpark number. I recall something about the second valve on a Grand L as being cheaper.

You can install them yourself but hydraulics have a learning curve and by the time you're done you're better off having a good dealer do it. I'm more than capable but felt I was money ahead having a dealer do it.

You can also roll your own with universal parts but when or if you go to sell you'll likely get dinged because the buyer might question the quality of the install. Fair or not, it happens. Others will disagree with my choices so follow your nose.

You can buy the parts and build a kit yourself all the way to having the dealer do the install. The plumbing isn’t too difficult if you are up to learning a few terms and can make some brackets and run some hydraulic hoses. You will be making a few trips to your local hydraulic hose maker.

I just had my dealer install 2 remotes with 2 float detent valves for top and tilt $2406.36. I have a Grand L6060 w/cab. It was a little over $300 labor the rest is parts.

Wow...Had know idea the parts were so expensive. Will look into aftermarket parts...Didn’t want to spend the time doing modifications because I need the tractor. Guess I’ll have to make time.

Can anyone tell me the best aftermarket mod to do that looks clean and original? Can modify anything that’s needed so that not a problem. Just would like it to look neat.

Thanks!

Not an after market kit available that even comes close to OEM stuff. You want to be close to OEM, start buying parts and pieces. It can be done, just takes time and patience.

Good luck.

Look at the cost another way. Figure out how much the dealer would actually charge and for that you have to ask. It might be cheaper than the price mentioned earlier.

Then figure out how much it would cost you to do it yourself and factor in errors and learning curve. The difference between these two is the number you should focus on because that is your (extra) "cost" for discussion purposes. It could be only a few hundred dollars over DIY and you'll know better when you ask. Then figure what your time is worth. Also know that a home brew will never have the little things like the right length hoses or factory look and you have to be OK with that.

There are guys here that are good with hydraulics and really know what they are doing but I'm not one of them. Farming it out to the dealer worked for me.
