JD 4110
Hey gang, I am finishing working up the final details with my dealer for the 4110. I want to have rear hydraulics and be able to control the rears while still using the bucket. My salesman hasn't sold a set up like this on the 4110 and he is checking to see what I need. Have any of you done this on the 4110 and if so did you use the deere parts?

Thanks
Bob

Do you mean the power beyond kit for the BH (and I'm assuming other attachments)?

Not sure of the correct term. I want to be able to add a hydraulic cylinder to my rear blade to angle right and left and still be able to use the front end loader. Will power beyond give me what I need?

There is a rear hydraulic kit for the tractor, that
will essentially split your loader control hydraulics and provide
a set of outlets at the rear of the tractor that will run off the joystick. I believe part # is LVBM25362
It would allow you to angle a blade, but if your
bucket cylinders were still hooked up for the loader, you would also be running that function as well.
Another option would to split the function with a fasse type valve, and that would give you an electrical control that would
allow you to switch from a front function to a rear function with a push of a button.

I'm by no means an expert, but here is what I know. The power beyond kit will give you a hydraulic loop at the back of your tractor. It does not give you any way to control it. A BH or log splitter have their own control valves so they would work. To do what you want you would need to add a spool valve to the setup (not supplied by JD) It is my understanding the other option from JD is simply running hydraulic lines from your loader quick connects so to me that would not be a very good option. I just got a power beyond kit today and plan to add rear remotes in the future. Kennyd is the expert, and hopefully he (and others can help you (and me) out.

I also am currently installing a Fasse electric diverter valve (for a grapple) As Dutch suggests, that could also work. The only real downside I see is the need to run hoses from the front to the back. Just afraid they would get ripped up. The valve I purchased was JD part# 700-1592 ($309). Once again Kennyd was the one who put a diverter on his 4110 and is a wealth of knowledge. (look up is posts)

While I chose not to get it, I believe Deere has a standard rear hydro outlet available for the 4110. In fact, I think they have a double. I have the power beyond for the FEL, but I thought regular rear outlets were also available.

I'm pretty sure that option is only running lines back. The power beyond option is $225 on the JD configurator and the rear hydraulics is $257 (I think) I can't imagine dual remotes with control valves for that price. Someone else will know for sure.

The rear outlet kit for the 4010-4115 is just a set of hoses that extend the front DSCV couplers to the rear.
You cannot "split" the front DSCV as Dutch suggested, you can only use the front OR the rear couplers.
The Fasse valve or any other electric diverter will technically work, but it would be a plumbing nightmare on these tractors, and the line would be very susceptible to damage.

The best way is as Jason explained, you'll need the Power Beyond kit from JD, all the rest (Control valve, hoses, fittings, mounting brackets) all need to be sourced elsewhere. I have all the parts to do mine, even have the bracket made to mount the valve, I just need a free /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif day to get the install done. All in all I have $600-$700 invested, and a WHOLE lot of time getting the stuff together and learning all the in and outs about hydraulics.

Clear as mud? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

You have the DSCV for your FEL, Or did you mean to say (type) Backhoe?
