I am considering adding rear hydraulics for snow Blower chute control as well as other attachments , part number BLV10461, dealer tells me 3-4 hr install plus since I'm about an hour away an additional $50 service call plus 2 hrs travel at 80 per hr, so could be a $500 install cost . Just wondering looking at the set up does not seem too difficult to install . some parts need to be removed for access . Anybody done the install themselves and in so any tricks or things to watch out for , is there instruction manual with unit , anything special to do with hydraulics ie bleed lines ?

Welcome to the forum! :welcome:

I'm going to move your thread on over to the John Deere section to see if someone over there can answer your question.

If it is at all like the kit for my rear hyd. (3rd SCV) on my 4300, it was a matter of removing right rear wheel, fender, some fittings changed out. Pretty straight forward and good directions came with the kit. I would expect your kit and task would be very much the same. Don't be in a hurry, keep everything cleaned up good before opening up hyd. couplings, and you should have no major problems.
I added the hyd. top arm link and it was one of the best upgrades for use with the iMatch quick hitch and its many attachments.
