Rear 3 pt linkage to raise and lower arms

Couldn't translate those numbers at any of the auto parts places, wound up getting it from my dealer, he just handed it to me since I've been a frequent flyer for the parts I've broken and all of my implements along with maintenance stuff for everything. He really appreciated that I was the only person that ever walked in with a tool bag full of 40 grand when I bought the tractor, trailer, and first round of attachments.

I've stopped driving the 18 wheeler full time and mostly just do tractor work now. It gets used hard. I've stumbled onto a Realtor that does very large properties and she really believes that presentation is everything, if it looks like it has ever been mowed or maintained she has me clean it up, grade the drives, order in gravel or millings, whatever is needed to make the places look like someone just moved out. So far this has resulted in one of her buyers has contracted me to teach him and help him select the right equipment so that he can do it himself in the future. He is not going to retire for 5 more years and wants me to keep things up till then.

I wind up folding the mirrors onto the doors almost daily clearing abused trails, so far no problems with breakage or falling out.

That's how I bought my tractor also. Brought in a bag of cash. Problem was that dealer lost his dealership franchise shortly after I bought mine. I met the local LS rep at the next farm show and LS transferred all my paperwork and hooked me up with another dealer who has been great. I originally spoke to my new dealer when I was buying but he didn't have a cab tractor on the lot. He was glad to have me as a customer. Over 3 years on mine and have only been to the dealer for filters and a mirror.

Also glad to hear your new endeavor is working out for you. I tried looking for tractor work in my area but not many people interested in yard work and there are a ton of guys in the landscape business to compete with.

I retired a year ago and have been doing some side work on classic cars. I've been into classics for about 15 years now and met a lot of people. I've been working on cars since I was 14 and don't mind getting my hands dirty. I find it amazing that 90% of people who own classics around here have no mechanical aptitude at all so as word of mouth spreads I get their work.

I have a nephew I sub any yard work too. I try to stay in the tractor as much as possible. This young lady has been great to work with, she give me the address, We used to meet and discuss, now she just give the info and leaves it up to me to do what needs done.

I'm looking for a boom mounted flail mower for ditches and banks, then a grapple, and by late summer I must have a heavy duty sickle arm mower for the Hemp farm I'm involved with. While clearing at the hemp farm I found a 3 gang, adjustable 6ft wide, 30 20" pan disk that looked like it had only been used one or 2 years. The top surfaces were rusted a bit but the pans and bearings looked brand new, they all spun freely when I picked it up. That thing is all the little tractor wants to pull after about the 3rd pass. I traded a full day of discing with it, for it. I can't find any maker or model on it but the front 2 gangs adjusts with a long screw, the rear has 4 holes and a pin for adjustment. I left it at the property, only so much room on the trailer, I'll get some pictures next week when I go over to see if anything is growing yet, we planted 3 acres on Monday.

I wanted to come back to this thread and say thanks to George for throwing out this idea. Made up a rear lever for my LS 4255HC out of a couple pieces of strap and a bolt that was laying around. I made mine smaller and tucked away a bit more than Georges as I was worried about catching my clothing on it and moving the lift.

Thanks again George!
