rear 3 pt ballast box for bx2200

hi guys, my new bx should be here next week. does anyone have dimensions for a home made ballast box, for rear weight?
i have some 3/16" diamond plate steel, about 2'x4'. i think it would work, if reinforced, but curious how to attach it to the 3 pt hitch. drill holes and then reinforce around them? please post me some pictures! see ya
