Really looking at GC2300

I looked at the GC2300 today. My other choice is the BX2350. The quote I got on the GC2300 with FEL is 11,995 and for the BX2350 it's 11,900 for the BX...very comparable. The MF guy told me that the MFs are on sale until they are all sold out and this was the last 2300 on the lot. They do have the 0% for 60 months going on which is pretty attractive in itself. I guess I'm wondering if 11,995 is a decent price for the tractor with the FEL? Anyone? I find it interesting that both tractors are almost identical in price but I think the MF is a little bit better tractor. The guy is holding it for me for one day while I decide. My other option is to look at used tractors but I really like the 60 month thing on the MF. And either way I do have to finance.

That is a Great price! The GC2300 has a bigger loader with 2 dump cylinders. The engine makes it top power @ 2600 RPM the Kubota makes it top power @ 3200 that means you will use a little more fuel.
The hood and fenders are plactic on the Kubota and the GC2300 are steel. M/F is starting to use plactic on the newer models becouse like Kubota it is cheaper to build.

I called the guy back and told him to put "SOLD" on the tractor. I'm going back tomorrow and do the paper work and then i have to make arrangements to get the tractor home....they don't do delivery.....

$40 to rent a trailer for 1/2 day. NBD. I'll probably have it home by the weekend so I can start mowing. And moving all the piles of dirt/soil/rocks/ect. in my driveway.

I "stole" my GC for $12,525 with Loader, MMM & front bumper. However, I jumped the gun a few weks too soon. I got the 2.99% for 60, not 0% for 60. all in all still not bad. I got a quote on a similar BX for 13K. But, their financing was not nearly as compelling.

Congratulations,
I too just pulled the trigger but, on the GC2310 plus box blade and 15" BH bucket for $16400, hope to get it at the end of the week. I feel like a kid before Christmas.

Im envious, Widbey island is a beautiful place, I lived in WA for about 10 years but, couldn't take living on my postage stamp lot. Considering the rocks and Jurassic size trees I'm surprised you didn't opt for the 2310. Either way, I'm sure you will have a blast. Any impelements in your future?

Thanks all. I got the tractor and plan to go by and pick it up on Friday morning. I got the tractor and FEL with a Rankin 48" finish mower and a box scraper and it all came in at around $14,000 (a little less).

Yeah, I'm pretty excited. The grass is already starting to grow here so I'll put the mower to work pretty quickly. My 650" driveway looks like a warzone. That's the second job. Plus I have six or seven left over piles of gravel and fill dirt and top soil that have been in the way for over a year now and I plan to get them out of the way. After that, I've got a 100' terraced retaining wall planned for early spring and then 7 chords of firewood to move before the fall. I think I'll be busy and the tractor will too.
