Waiting is definatly the hardest part! I called my dealer today and he said that my 4310 was shipped on Monday from the factory. He said that it would be a week until he saw it at the dealership in Connecticut. Then about 3 days until delivery. My question is, where is the JD compact factory? I thought it was in Georgia but it can't be if it will take a week to get to Connecticut. Maybe I am not considering some other out of the way stops along the way? The tractor is already 2.5 weeks past my salesman's "latest possible delivery date"

Yes, waiting is the HARDEST part!
I know that my 4310 was about 2 weeks late, that did not include all the parts though. My Rotarty cutter was not available when the dealer brought the tractor out to my house. It showed up about 10 days later, dealer was great came delivered the LX5. Then about 10 days after that my backhoe came in. Dealer came and got the tractor and put it on for me.
So if yours is not all in at once, see if you can get it piece-meal. You can get a lot of work done without all the attachments.
I did find out that not all the parts come from the same place. And one other thing I found out was the trucks delivering the tractors don't all come via the most direct route!
You will love your tractor and the wait will disappear from your memory. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The factory is in Augusta, Georgia and thats where all the compacts are assembled. My 990 had the major parts come from Japan but the trucker brought it to MN from Georgia.
