Hi Just got a used tractor with 60'' mmm. When greasing I noticed the right side spindle has two grease fittings, one on top and one under pulley. Left has only on top. Anybody know why? Is the left one missing? Thanks
I have an RCK60B-22BX 60" mower for my BX2200. On this mower the left and right blade spindles are greased thru zerks on the top of the spindle, ie, above the pulley. The center spindle is lubed thru a zerk at the base of the gearbox. The idler pulley is greased thru a zerk on top of the pulley. There are also zerks for the belt tension pivot and for the balance shaft. I'm not sure how this mower compares to yours, but I hope this helps.
I have the 60" Kubota MMM on my B2910 ..... the grease fittings are configured the same as yours. Right spindle has two grease fittings, left has one on top. I've wondered why too and don't have an answer... it has worked fine for six years running now.
