Wouldn't you know it ? It finally dried up here in SW PA, so I went and got a box blade. Got it home, hooked it up and got to play for about an hour, then it started to rain. Ground is now a muddy mess. I guess I'll have to wait for it to dry out again.

Mark,
Murphy's law seems to work with a vengance around here. No matter how much I prepare for what can go wrong, something else always does.

Ed,
Send the rain our way..for we need it bad up hear.
There talk of banning all outside fires plus the streams darn low.
I'm considering doing a rain dance on my deck in my underwear..yep thats how bad its become. /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif

10F here this morning clear sky,and its a good morning to finish cutting up the last tree, and hauling the wood out before it gets muddy.

Have fun w/your new attachment today.

Thomas,
That's the wierd part. They are talking about drought conditions around Pittsburgh, 50 miles north of me, and we have more than enough water here. The streams were running high after the rain. I'm probably going to mount my tooth bar today as the ground is just too wet to play with the boxblade. It is also a little too cold to wash all the mud I would acquire off of the tractor today.

Wish it would rain here; I finished planting all the garden and the forecast is for a 40% chance tomorrow. Just a bit foggy right now.

I wish it would stop raining here. I just spent a bunch of time "fixing" a drainage swail in my front yard. Got it just right and put down burlap and straw. Near as I can tell from the house the straw got pushed down the ditch, formed a dam and caused the water to go places I definitely didn't want it to go.....ARGGGGGGG!!!!! Our forcast is calling for rain about every third day so tractoring can be a bit of a mess. We keep saying that we won't move to another new house that needs a yard put in and yet we do it again and again. I guess my memory is short. At least this time I have the enjoyment of the tractor to compensate for the frustration./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Weathermen are having to quickly revise their forecasts./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif I went down to the creek for just a few minutes, caught one nice crappie, and got back to the house just as the rain started, so now we're getting a very nice shower./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Getting more rain today./w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif
I was going to put my toothbar on today, but I hate working in the rain. The only building I have big enough is the barn where I keep the tractor, but I have no electric there. I usually bring the tractor to my shed behind the house to work on it. I can't wait till I get my garage built.
