Rain water collection

My Social Studies teacher could. She always sat on the edge of the desk with a short skirt and I always sat in the front row.. I absorbed every word she said...lol

I had a young teacher like that when I was in the eighth grade. I never heard a word she said. I was too busy daydreaming about all the what-ifs.

We had a rainwater collection system at our cabin in Alaska. The water off half the metal roof went into two oak whiskey barrels. The first barrel was full of sand & activated charcoal. This drained into the second barrel that stored the water. Worked fine and for the first couple of years the resulting water was heavenly.
