Hey guys. I've had my new 3250 now for a couple weeks and I absolutely love it. One small problem though, my factory installed radio will not keep time. The clock will reset if I don't use the tractor every couple of hours, sometimes even shorter. All of the presets and other memory type items stay programmed though. Any ideas?? The dealer is looking into it, but I don't expect an answer real soon. The beginning of hay season has them pretty slammed right now.

never bothered to set my clock. But it uses the same consyant lead for memory as the prest radio stations. Does your radio remember the presets? Ill set the clock tomorrow and report back

Hiya,

Check your ground straps, especially the ignition switch and cab ground. One of the symptoms of a poor ground circuit is resetting the clock on the radio as the voltage falls while cranking because of the higher resistance in the circuit. The stations don't reset because they are in flash memory, the clock is live.

Good to know. I thought they were all live
