I busted the radiator on my Branson 4220 (poked a big hole in it clearing land). The dealer parts cost was $600 which seems extremely high. Checking to see if anyone has used a crossover replacement for the 4220. Any suggestions would be a great help.

600$ is not that bad. If you look for a radiator on any of the big brands, that's easily a over 1000$ part.

I don't think there is any crossover replacement part for a tractor. Contrary to what happens on the automotive industry.

Some of the performance aluminum radiator shops will quote semi custom radiators, places such as JEGS have them.
I would be surprised if it was much or any less.

What Lou said. If you have a radiator shop nearby, ask them if they can rebuild yours, or make you one from scratch. Back in my racing days, I used to have custom aluminum radiators made for my cars, and off road truck too. Can specify # of cores, and core size (diameter). May end up being cheaper than a factory one. Not hard to do if you have yours to use as a template.

Slowpoke Slim used to race cars?

I hope that's not what you were called back in the day!
