Tires r4 tires

I have a small gray market machine that is 4wd and has the original "rice" tires on it and they dont really serve my purposes very well. I was hoping someone here would know of a manufacturer/dealer that can get slim R4 tires to replace the stock tread. Thanx fellers....

Good year place would be a good start.But,bet you'll need to buy wheels/rims too.

Call your local tire shop (Not pep boys or wall mart) and tell them your tire size. They will be able to look in there books and see if there is a comparable sized r4 avalible.

Wht do the "rice" tires look like.

Lbrown59 they look like standard ag tires only the paddles are thinner and a lot taller. Its hard to get a tractor stuck with these tires on, but its hard to turn on turf and not plow with the front tires.

I found a local industrial tire supply shop on the other side of the city. Havent had time to call them yet but the add says they have most industrial tires available. Thanx fellers.

I changed my rice tires to R4's. You can go to the Titan site and find the rolling circumference of you tires and of some R4's that match. I had to go from a 26 inch rear to a 24 inch rear to keep the same r.o.'s.

Hey wheel was able to provide me with the wheels I needed. Had to buy 4 new wheels to go with the 4 new R4's. Good Luck Terry

Many rice tired compact tractors have 22" rims, kind of an odd size, Firestoneag.com has a 8" turf tire that fits on your rim. Otherwise an equivalent R-4 you would have to go to a 16" rim and about a 13.6" tire for the same diameter.
