Does the quick hitch work as well as advertised. ?

The quick hitches do work by allowing you to spread arms and lift under the pins of an implement instead of spreading the arms of the 3ph and getting the pins to slide into the ball holes which I've found to be rather difficult by myself. I've had the Pats and traded them away and have kept the $80 ones purchased off ebay tractor quick hitch in Agriculture & Forestry | eBay > The downside of quick hitches are some extend the arms back a few inches which can be a problem with a drive shaft implement (my Kubota tiller for one) by making the drive shaft to short. Yes, one can get longer drive shafts for money.

I also have a Kubota. A B 7510. What size and kind of tiller do you have ? are you happy with it ?

I have all my 3PT equipment on dollies. Moving and attaching them is not an issue. Another way of addressing the issue without having short PTO shafts. I purchased used Herd Spreader and Kubota Grass Catcher..... both PTO's would have been too short if I had used the quick hitch!

If you add up all the time spent over the life of your tractor and equipment attaching without a quick hitch, now cut that time in half with a quick hitch and use the rest for what ever trips your trigger, less the time it takes to make the few bucks to buy two PTO shafts of course.:2cents:

Wouldn't be without it. Sure saves my old back and knees. If you are metal work handy, weld, and capable equipment wise get the harbor freight one and save a bunch. Catch them on sale and use the plentiful 20% off coupons and the price gets below $75. It will require some modifications requiring the above skills or you might as well buy the high $ ones at around 3 to 4 hundred. Still worth it. My time is free so irt works for me. I have posted details on this several threads in the past, look them up.

Is it just a modification to the lift arms or do ya also have to modify each implement to allow it to work?

I bought a Land Pride with floater today.

The mod is to the HF QH itself. Then QH ready implements will work. Older implements may need too be modified the the pin center alignments either botton and/or top. In general, not hard if you are a welder.
I have repeated the mods here enough not inclined top repeat. Once you start to hook it up you will see it. The bushings on the pins to increase the daimenter are the hardest. Order from Land Pride dealer as bushing stock is not out there to cut your own.
