Finally figured out how to join. I found this great site around two years ago when I sold my 8ns and started looking at Kubotas.
Has anyone had any dealings with Pats quick change hitches? Thanks for thoughts.

Search that name, I don't have Pats but there is alot of discussions on the subject.

Good luck and welcome to TBN :)

The "Attachments" forum has a sticky on top for Pat's.

I've had Pats and two other QHs that I ordered off Ebay (under $100) for considerably less money. Pats is the strongest and take the longest to install and take back off. QHs are great when one works alone.
The biggest problem with QHs is they extend the implement back several inches which sometimes requires a longer upper arm (no brand name) which can be bought cheap at Tractor Supply type stores($20/$25). Also if the implement has a drive shaft the drive shaft may be to short which is the case with my tiller and my QH. I also had to buy the longer upper arm for one of my tractors.
I'm a supporter of QHs.

I just purchased the Woods quick hitch from my dealer, and other than either changing out all my pins to category 2, or buying the sleves with the knobs on the end of them for the lower hitch points, I LOVE IT. I have a BX1860 and there is not much room to hook up the disc or the box scrape to these compact tractors. I have found that my box blade works perfectly with the quick hitch, but it always wanted to dig in without it!

I have a Pats QH on my B2320 and am very pleased with it. As mentioned, you'll most likely need a longer top link and maybe longer PTO shafts. They make hooking up implements much easier.

Pat's now makes a QH for sliding lower 3PH lift arms that doesn't lengthen the lower arms. The geometry is the same as with the balls.

The 3PH needs to be able to go about 2" lower to get under the implement's lift pins. It is not a problem for most implements.

If the tractor has a hydraulic top link this slide-in QH is perfect. No problems with needing longer PTO shafts either.

The slide-in capability is lost but with the Pat's it is not needed anyway.

I had purchased the Pats for a B7800 that did not have the sliding lower arms and liked the QH for that tractor and other later putchased tractors.
I traded the B7800 to a L3240 which had the sliding lower arms. Can't see me buying a QH for a tractor with sliding lower arms since the sliding lower arms takes most of the pain out of the 3ph hook up. Just my opinion/experience.
I have sold my Pats and bought two more different QHs for under $100 off Ebay. One lets the implement sit on top or under the QH which helps some with the shaft length being to short but it has a lot of play where the implement hooks up to the QH.
