All,
I am considering getting a quick hitch. I am going to need to be able to swap 3 point equipment more regularly. Fighting with getting the draft arms lined up with the pins is a real PITA and a time waste.
My question is with the top link. I had to take my top link out and replace it with a chain on our brush hog. The articulation in the original set up with rigid top link didnt allow the brush hog to float enough. When the brush hog and tractor would pitch up the top link would jam. The chain prevents that.
I dont know how the set up is going to work with a quick hitch? Is there a way to only use the lower 2 points for the pins?
Ideas?
