quick conect log spliter

my brother-in-law and i started brainstorming on a log spliter that would use the hydraulics on our tractors. by possibly installing quick conects maybe to the loader controls to hook to the spliter instead of loader. anyone built something like this? It seems like it would be a lot cheaper and less maintnance than a whole other system.

Using your loader controls, switched between the loader and log splitter would work just fine.

I have a 3pt Wallenstein log splitter that I hook to my loader valve and it works great. I still have full use of my loader when it is attached. The hoses are kind of a pain, but it is not attached very often or for long times. I have read here that some lose one or more functions when attached.

This looks like what I am thinking about.

I would like to connect the spliiter hoses to the quick-disconnects that open/close the 4n1. Will this work?
