I am looking at a skid steer style quick attach backhoe for a skidsteer. I dont want to hack off the QC mounting plate, but instead am thinking of making an adapter that fits the plate and converts it to a subframe mount. Anyone done such a thing before?
I can simplify the QC mount quite a bit since it will be a semi permanent application. There will be no need to have levers to actuate the pins. The pins for that matter can be bolted shut.
